If you see Missing Required Setting in the System Alerts page for AppsFlyer, that means that a user is missing the required AppsFlyer ID.
AppsFlyer requires data to be linked to a unique AppsFlyer ID, generated client-side by the AppsFlyer Kit. mParticle stores the AppsFlyer ID in its internal user profile.
To resolve this issue, ensure the following conditions are met:
- You must have the AppsFlyer Kit included in your app to be able to forward data, and you can only forward data associated with your app users.
- The data you send server-side must include a device ID, so that mParticle can lookup the AppsFlyer ID for the user.
